Remote Backup

Remote storage is best used for backing up documents, photos, and other mediabrowser that wouldlet's hateschedule to lose.backups.  It can benever helpfulhurt to backhave upan serviceadditional datlikestrategy, thoseespecially fromone radarr,that sonarr, and OwnCloud configurationsis stored inoutside /srv/.of your home.  Through Duplicati, we can upload encrypted backups to a cloud storage service.

InternetLocal backups are perfect to getting your server running after a systems failure while remote backups offer long-term reassurance you'll never lose important personal data.  We can use remote backup storage bucketfor documents, photos and other data we cannot stand to lose.

We will be focusing on a cloud storage isservice generallyprovided cheapby Backblaze known as "B2 Buckets."  These storage buckets are affordably priced, per terabyte of data, and come with unlimited bandwidth for uploading your files.  They charge more money for downloading files fromto their serviceservice. so theyDownloading arelarge amounts of data, however, can accrue fees per gigabyte.  Therefore, cloud storage is a great forsafety "deepnet freeze"to storage where it exists as a backuphave in casethe event of emergencies.catastrophic data loss.

We will need tocan install the duplicati serviceDuplicati through Portainer.Portainer now that we have that all set up.
