Disable Local Repositories

If you have the USB Installflash Diskdrive we created to install Debian plugged into the USB port, Debian may default to installing software from thethis local repository. ThisA may"repository" is the location that your software manager searches for available software. Defaulting to the repository on your USB flash drive can cause errors when trying to update software that is not locally available.

You can either remove the USB drive, or removedeselect the "cdrom://" source from the Software & Updates app.app under the Other Software tab.
