Choosing Your Requirements

Raspberry Pi can be used to host several small services like grocy or home assistant, but would struggle to host multiple services.  A refurbished desktop could likely run multiple services. Media servers can require more processing power, such as a dedicated graphics card, as well as storage space for media.
